1st/2nd Line Technician

We are currently seeking a 1st / 2ndLine Technician for a lab. You will be responsible for responding to relevant support requests onsite close to Basildon. This is an onsite 6 month contract with the chances of being made permanent.

As a 1st / 2nd Line Technician, you will be tasked with the following:

· Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange

· Answer incoming helpdesk calls and emails and log these as tickets.

· Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements

· Diagnosing and resolving technical issue

· Monitoring network infrastructure, identifying issues and resulting fixes

· Provide telephone and to solve customer problems/requests.

The key things we’re looking for from our 1st / 2nd Line Technician:

· Provide telephone and/or remote support to solve customer problems/requests.

  • Supporting Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013 / 2016 / Office 365
  • Proven experience in installing & configuring & supporting Windows 10 (and Windows 7)
  • Ability to understand IP networks and debugging of network problems.
  • Experienced to understand basic Routers and Firewalls.
