Senior IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a Level 2/3 Senior IT Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have advanced networking skills (switches, routers, IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs).
  • Be proficient in client operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10, 11) and server operating systems (SBS 2003, 2008, 2011, Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Know how to disinfect devices from viruses/malware and perform backups/restorations.
  • Be skilled in troubleshooting system, application, and network issues.
  • Understand cloud services (Office 365, Google Suite, Azure) and VoIP solutions.

Duties Include:

  • Remote and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Updating policies and procedures.
  • Project management for IT tasks.
  • Documenting procedures and resolving backup issues.
  • Monitoring and updating ticket queues.
  • Building and deploying workstations/servers.
  • Migrating email to Office 365 and data to cloud storage.
  • Participating in company marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attitude, team effort, and communication skills.
  • Clean driving license and own car.
  • Professional appearance and willingness to wear a uniform.
  • Responsibility for tools and willingness to work extra hours when needed.
  • Availability for weekend work for migrations.
  • Eagerness to share and learn from others’ experiences.
