1st/2nd Technical Engineer

We are currently seeking a 1st / 2nd Line IT Engineer for a Luxury Goods company. You will be responsible for responding to relevant support requests. This is an onsite 6 month contract with the chances of being made permanent.

As a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange
  • Answer incoming helpdesk calls and emails and log these as tickets.
  • Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issue
  • Monitoring network infrastructure, identifying issues and resulting fixes
  • Provide telephone and to solve customer problems/requests.

The key things we’re looking for from our 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer:

  • Provide telephone and/or remote support to solve customer problems/requests.
  • Supporting Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013 / 2016 / Office 365
  • Proven experience in installing & configuring & supporting Windows 10 (and Windows 7)
  • Ability to understand IP networks and debugging of network problems.
  • Experienced to understand basic Routers and Firewalls.
